On/Off Season
AN INVITATION TO OPEN STUDIOS THIS WEEKEND IN MARGATE
There has been an excited buzz in the studio for the past few weeks as we all busily prepare for Off Season 2026. Patterned quilts are being sewn and hung, dolls houses lovingly repaired, loose limbs constructed into strangely alluring sculptures, and paintings and drawings framed and hung, and that’s just in our studios!
It’s a big event with over 150 listings. A completely free, DIY, pop-up arts festival made by the artists of Margate for Margate.
This year we have a handy map so you can plan your route and not miss out on any of the fun. We are number 92 on the Cliftonville map (Studio 31A) - 5 artists - open 12-5pm Friday 23rd - Sunday 25th January.
I will be around on Friday until 2pm and Saturday all day if you fancy a chat/cup of tea. I’ll be showing new work in progress, research, paintings and drawings. If you are London based, Margate is only a short train ride away (1 hr 20).
